Corby Giers
Counseling Intern
My counseling focus is with neurodivergency, intergenerational trauma, and animal-assisted psychotherapy. I provide equine assisted psychotherapy (EAP) and standard office-based therapy.
I have found a true passion in being able to help others find their best and most true selves. I base my practice in Eclectic Therapy, drawing from a variety of therapies as best suits each client’s needs and circumstances. I use evidence-based techniques and stay updated in new research on how different techniques and practices best work with different populations and demographics. My goal is to always tailor therapy to the individual.
When I am not at the barn or in the office, I enjoy training my dogs and competing in dog sports competitions like obedience and rally. I also enjoy gardening, reading, and creative writing.
