Laura Williams, LCPC
Healing isn’t about erasing the past—it’s about learning to live fully in the present. As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, with over 12 years in public service, I’ve now dedicated my career to helping people reclaim their lives from trauma, anxiety, and depression to become more present in their lives.
My expertise spans all ages, from early childhood (0-5) to adults, with specialized training in child and parent psychotherapy to strengthen family bonds. I help individuals and families navigate anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma, including simple and complex PTSD, attachment issues, and generational trauma. Whether you’re a parent seeking support or play therapy for your young child, a teen struggling with emotions, or an adult carrying unseen burdens, I offer a compassionate, trauma-informed space where healing begins.
At Healthy Strides, I provide a warm, judgment-free environment where clients of all backgrounds, cultures, and LGBTQIA+ community can feel safe and supported. I believe in therapy that is empowering and rooted in evidence-based techniques while providing a space where you feel safe, heard, and equipped to move forward.
Throughout therapy, I guide clients in understanding the mind-body connection, accepting thoughts without judgment, and transitioning into the present. I also offer psychological testing to help uncover underlying concerns and create a roadmap for healing.
Outside of therapy, you’ll find me hiking, kayaking, practicing yoga, or spending time with my family—activities that remind me of the strength and resilience found in nature. Just like the trails I explore, healing is a journey, and I’m here to walk alongside you. Healing isn’t about who you’ve been—it’s about who you’re becoming. I’m here to help you take that next stride. Let’s begin.
